How can I learn to fix my baby lock embroidery machine and other sewing machines? I would like to learn how to fix my own computerized sewing machines and embroidery machines. I can't seem to find out information on this. Baby Lock say's I need to work for a dealer to get trained. I live way to far away to work for a dealer. Can anyone help me with this one? I know I can go to a dealer or place that fixes sewing machines but I have to travel too far. There is no one in my area of 50 square miles that I can train with. Is there another way to learn how to do this?
Pfaff or Baby Lock? Which sewing machine brand is better? I'm looking to buy a new sewing machine because my cheap singer isn't doing anything anymore. I want my next sewing machine to be one that I know I can rely on to last more than two years like my singer, that is also well made. I've chosen Baby Lock and Pfaff as the two brands I am most interested in purchasing. Can anyone give me their thoughts on these and let me know which they think would be a better investment? Thanks.
Does anyone know how to thread the bobbin of a Baby Lock Companion 722 sewing machine? I haven't used the machine in a long time and can't put my hands on my manual. Thought it would come back to me but it hasn't yet.

Baby Lock 1500 Sewing Machine bobbin problem? The bobbin thread on my machine looks like a zig zag stitch when I am straight stitching. The top thread looks great. It has been in for the same repair 2 years in a row and each time the technician declares the problem is solved and it is for about 9 mos. Now it has started all over again. I'm very reluctant to take it back to the Baby Lock repair shop, as you can well imagine. Any ideas? Btw, done the new needle, fuzzies out, oil and reg. home maintenance things right along.

How much should I sell a Baby Lock Companion 1550 Sewing Machine? Okay, I received this Baby Lock Companion 1150 sewing machine from a really nice old lady who was my husband's patient. Anyways, it's really nice that woman give it to me, but I like my sewing machine more, since it was the first time that i had ever bought it. So my current sewing machine means alot to me. Anyways, this Baby Lock Companion 1550 sewing machine is really old, probably like 10-15 years old or something. It was really dusty and ancient. when I first saw it, because that old lady put it in her attic for ages. Anyways, where can I sell this sewing machine? I don't want to try to see it at Ebay, because the weight is pretty heavy, more than 10 lbs. I'm not being ungrateful or anything, it just that i have no use with this sewing machine. I live in houston, texas, and I can't have yard sell, since I live in a apartment complex. Ty again. Plus, i'm selling alot of my items, because i need to get rid of alot of items in my apartment before i move to my new apartment complex by the end of this month. Ty so much people.
baby lock BL6300? Where can I get a baby lock BL6300???? (sewing machine)
Should I get the Baby Lock Decorators Choice (BLDC2)? I have had a Singer 1748 for about two years and it is complete junk. The bobbin thread will no longer connect to the upper thread for some reason, even though the machine is threaded correctly and has been oiled. It also shakes and rattles so much that when it does decide it wants to stitch, things fall off of my desk. But even when it does stitch, the stitches are really inconsistent and either way too tight, or far too loose. I learned to sew on a Baby Lock at school and those machines never gave any trouble. A Baby Lock dealer is located right by my house so I've gone to the store and tested out the machine I want and liked what I saw. However, the dealer sells it for $1000.00 and I just don't know if I should save up to spend all that money on a sewing machine that might not be what I'm looking for. I've read reviews for the previous model of this machine, the BLDC, and it seems to be pretty good, but I'm hoping someone can give me advice based on the current model, or just Baby Lock in general.
i want to be a fashion designer...sewing machine? I am in 8th grade and I have been sewing since last year, 12 almost 14, for my birthday i want a new sewing machine, but a nice one since i want to be a fashion deisigner. I looked up the babylock BLR but I dont know if that brand is good. the demo on you tube makes it look great here ill show you http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HsVEAMjsJFk it also embroiders, but do I want that? do i want a electronic machine, i want a machine $400 or above, i am spoiled, my dad said since my bro got a $40,000 piano, i get a nice seiwng machine, so ya, my brother is in the CA state concert band, at 16...wow...i feel so stupid compared to him he has a 4.2, i stuggle to get a 3.9. so i want a machine that will last me forever, and i will never consider getting another machine, do fashion designers prefer having a embroidary machine too? I think I want one plus a sewing machine, baby lock looks like the brand for for me, but since i learned on a pfaff those look great too, not singer i hav 1, ewe!

What does Baby Lock's "FOA" error code stand for? I have a Baby Lock Decorator's Choice sewing machine (BLDC). I've rarely had any problems with this machine and I've been using it for about 5 years now... Today I'm getting an error message on my digital screen that says "FOA" and nothing else. The only way I can clear the error is by turning the machine off and back on again. Does anyone know what FOA stands for or how I can correct this? Thanks for any help!
