  1. Are you talking about an electric machine in a cabinet, like: http://blackbirdpieblog.blogspot.com/2008_02_20_archive.html (go down to Feb 20) OR are you looking for a treadle machine like: http://sewing.about.com/library/weekly/aa012400a.htm OR are you looking for an industrial sewing head already in a table with motor and treadle, like: http://milleniumgarmentmachine.tradeindia.com/Exporters_Suppliers/Exporter12388.174459/Expert-Shanghai-Flyingman-Industrial-Sewing-Machine.html Or something else? The first type of home machine hasn't been much in vogue since the early 70's... current fashion is to either put a "portable" machine on an ordinary table or to put it in more of a "sewing center" sort of cabinet: http://crafts-sewing.hsn.com/arrow-compact-airlift-sewing-machine-cabinet-black_pf-284914_xp.aspx?club_id=284914&sz=31&sf=CT0160&rdr=1&cm_mmc=Shopping%20Engine-_-Froogle-_-Crafts%20And%20Sewing-_-Arrow%20Compact%20Airlift%20Sewing%20Machine%20Cabinet%20-%20Black%203756508&cawelaid=145345000 For the first type, you're probably likeliest to find one at a garage or estate sale, or maybe a local sewing machine dealer will let you know when they take one in on trade -- usually the machine is taken out and the cabinet junked. Treadle machines are likely found in garage and estate sales, occasionally at vastly inflated prices from antique dealers. The irons are heavy and brittle. If you're interested in treadle machines, you might want to look through the archives for the group "treadleon". Industrial machines are all over... probably the easy way to get one is through a dealer in industrial machines -- but I've seen them at garage and estate sales, too. They're also heavy to move, but generally not brittle like a treadle. Industrial machines are also generally single-purpose machines, and are not necessarily suitable for general purpose sewing... know what you're getting before you buy.
  2. check www.craigslist.org You could also check your phone book for local listings of sewing machine repair shops. They will often have used models that they have serviced for sale. Good luck
  3. Here it is http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fgp%2Fsite-directory%2F&tag=funjok-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325 Good Luck!
  4. They just don't come like this anymore. Craig's list, yard sales and Ebay are possibilities. If you find a great cabinet/table but a lousy sewing machine, you can remove the machine, add a shelf inside the opening and get a better machine - I've done this several times. You can get a sewing machine cabinet for under $100 from Walmart and add you own choice of machine (they all come with a foot pedal). http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=1984564
