where can i buy a cheap sewing machine in the UK?

i want to buy a sewing machine but i dont have enough money for teh realy expensive ones. where can i buy a brand new cheap one?

Check local freecycle and freegle groups www.freecycle.org and www.freegle.org.uk as a lot of people give them away when they haven't used them for a long time - other than that watch out in Lidl's if you have one locally, I got one a few years ago for i think around £80 and it's fine for repairs, alterations and basic garment making etc.
