Claim these are over stocked machines from projected sales for schools & industries for $199.00. Are these for real or a scam?

This is almost certainly a scam... similar "sales" (often out of hotel rooms or such) have been going on for years... http://www.cet.com/~pennys/faq/smfaq.htm A woman I know who rather unwillingly worked at one (needed the money) said she was pressured to "upsell" the basic machines to a more expensive (but not high quality model). Don't remember the brand involved, but I'd take all "sales" like these with about a 50 lb salt lick, not just a grain of salt...
