Need help with a sewing machine?

Hi, I am new to sewing, I just picked up a machine from an estate sale. It is very nice a Brother model BZ 867524. I do not have the manual and was wondering if anyone out there has one or knows how to get one. I already checked the brother site, but no luck. Also, like I said, I'm new to sewing. I think I got an awesome deal on this machine. It's been used a handful of times, shiny and new, built in Brother cabinet, bought it for $25! The lady who sold it to me didn't realize it was worth more until we opened it, she said it uses double needles. What does that mean? she didn't know. Is that for fancy stitching? It came with a box full of metal perts and attachments for it and I have no idea what they're for!. I ALREADY CHECKED THE BROTHER SITE looking for my model. It's not there. I'm assuming it's a vintage machine. Works Perfectly! I need the manual to this particular model, so please don't suggest that I look there because I've been searching all day. Please only answer if you have a model or have a link to where I can get a manual for this particular model machine.

1. Double needle will allow you to put two rows of stitching down at same time. Can be decorative with two different colors of thread. Brother makes good quilting and embroidery machines as well as the straight sewing machines. Check out this site " brother-usa.com" and see if you can find your model and more info. Good Luck!
2. The double needles are just that-- 2 needles joined so that they go in where one usually goes, so they will sew two parallel lines of stitching. You need two top threads and two bobbins. It can be decorative and it can be for extra strength. If you can't find a manual, take it to your local sewing machine repair place and get them to show you how stuff works. It wouldn't hurt to have them tune it up, if the machine's been sitting unused.
3. First of all 25 dollars for almost any machine in good condition is an amazing deal! Secondly, the double needle is a great tool that I wish I had on my own machine. One way to get an instruction manual is to put the model code into a site like http://www.instruction-manuals.co.uk/wantedC.htm. This has worked for me before. I recentally moved and my manual was lost in the move. This site worked like a charm!
