What is the best Sewing Machine that I should buy?

I would like to buy a sewing machine, but I do not know which one to buy. I am not too concerned about the Price, I just really want a good one... Please Help!!! =) And I would like it for making handbags, pillows, clothes, etc. But MOST importantly, HANDBAGS!!! =)

1. My wife has a nice Bernina. They make really good machines that last a long time. Hers cost around $1700 and gets constant use. 4 years later it's still in great shape.
2. Most handbag fabrics are at about the upper limit for sewing on home machines. Sounds like you're going to need a dual feed or needlefeed industrial or something similar. Talk to the best sewing machine stores in the area, particularly those that also sell industrial or commercial machines. Brands I'd probably look at (in your shoes) include Consew, Juki, Sailrite, Tacsew....
3. Brand has nothing to do with your choice. Features is the important thing. Shop around and ask questions. A good place to start is a repair shop that sells trades. High quality, low prices.
