This machine is in excellent working condition. I still have the sales ticket with the machine. Other attachments and feet with machine.

  1. The key is to find the model #. Turn it over to see if there are any numbers located on the back or bottom of the machine.
  2. I lived with a quilter for 17 years, and she loved her Singer sewing machines. Her friends did, too. The problem is, Singer made a bunch of machines over the years, and they aren't all esteemed similarly. I know people will want to know what model machine this is, exactly. And, if it's much of a collectable model, they're going to want to know not just if it's in excellent working condition, but if the decals are in good shape and if it has any chips or visible wear, and what condition the case is in. They'll want to know what kind of finish the cabinet has, too, and if it has drawers on the sides or what. I can't tell you its value personally, and the value surely fluctuates too, but I can tell you these things will be important to most people that love the old Singers.
  3. At auction they fetch next to nothing because so many were made , it may be nice etc but that's the way it is for this object. you will be lucky to get thirty pounds sterling for it less the commission of the saleroom.
  4. $0-20 around here (PNW US) for most models of Singer in cabinet. More if it's a 221 or 222.
