1. Janome makes Hello Kitty in what looks like turquoise (see source). Otherwise, all brands pretty much look alike. If Hello Kitty is not to your liking, buy a quality machine and put scrap-book decals on it. I dressed up my laptop that way. A new machine will have a 20-25 year warranty. If you buy from a sewing machine dealer they will provide support and may even have classes. Visit as many dealers as you can and try their machines. Buy the machine you like best from the dealer you like best. Best wishes in finding the right machine for you.
